Laundry/Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laundry/Service Technician to join our team at Staff Unlimited Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of washed linen and garments, reporting any abnormalities to management.
  • Verify that machine operators are using the correct wash programs for the classifications processed.
  • Conduct regular reflectometer readings on linen and record the results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and clients.
Ad Hoc Duties:
  • Assist with other duties and technical work as required.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with a team and roll up sleeves as needed.
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of laundry dosing equipment.
  • Programming of laundry machines.
  • Installation of dish machines and chemical dosing units.
  • Knowledge of industrial dish-machine maintenance and repairs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Computer Literacy:
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office packages (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Intermediate knowledge of virtual programs (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
