Janitorial Assistant

SA Metal is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our office and premises.

• Daily Cleaning Tasks: Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop surfaces in your work area, including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Supply Management: Refill and restock cleaning supplies, including hand wash, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Washing and Sanitizing: Wash dishes, kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, water coolers, and all kitchen equipment.
• Waste Management: Take out the garbage and dispose of it in designated areas.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Assist with additional tasks as required.

• Matric or Equivalent: A minimum of a Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices and standard cleaning chemicals.
• Hygiene Practices: Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices.
