Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist Manager to join our team at E&D Recruiters. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our geophysics department and will play a key role in the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Department Coordination: The Geophysicist Manager will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the geophysics department, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Geophysical Surveys: The successful candidate will assist in undertaking geophysical surveys, including survey design, data acquisition, processing, and interpretation of AEM.
  • Data Processing and Analysis: The Geophysicist Manager will assist in developing advanced data processing and new tools/software, ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of geophysical technology.
  • Reporting and Quality Assurance: The successful candidate will ensure that the quality of reporting to clients is maintained from a scientific and technical perspective, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Project Management: The Geophysicist Manager will identify and manage projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Collaboration: The successful candidate will maintain professional communication with clients, universities, and professional organizations, ensuring that our company's reputation is maintained and enhanced.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree or higher in Geophysics or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth technical expertise in geosciences, particularly geophysical surveys related to exploration activities and projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent technical written and oral communication ability.
  • Project Management: Formal qualification in project management or operations management would be advantageous.
