AGC Legal Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our client, a leader in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience providing expert legal advice in the FMCG sector, with a strong background in contract management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic legal advice to business divisions on commercial contracts, property, and employment law.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, distributors, and key stakeholders to ensure favourable terms and mitigate legal risks.
  • Ensure business divisions comply with local and international regulations, including food safety standards, consumer protection laws, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage and resolve disputes and litigation, representing the company in negotiations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the HR department on employment law matters, including some dispute resolution.
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures to ensure the company's operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
Requirements:
  • Admitted Attorney.
  • Minimum of at least 5 years PQE in an in-house counsel role.
  • Sound knowledge of contract law, drafting, and reviewing agreements.
  • Strong ability to handle high-paced environments and stressful situations.
