Job Title: Mid Level Systems Analyst

About the Role:

H2R Africa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid Level Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in evaluating and improving our current IT systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and Improve IT Systems:
    • Assess current IT systems, including hardware, software, and network components, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Consult with Stakeholders:
    • Work with managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and how IT systems can support these needs.
  • Design and Implement New Systems:
    • Develop specifications and design new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Oversee System Implementation:
    • Ensure the smooth integration of new systems into our existing IT infrastructure.
  • Test and Validate Systems:
    • Conduct regular testing to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Provide Training and Support:
    • Deliver training and support to users on new systems and technologies.
  • Document and Maintain Systems:
    • Create and maintain documentation, including system manuals and user guides.
  • Perform Cost Analysis:
    • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed IT initiatives to ensure they are financially viable.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, including software development, databases, and network infrastructure.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and data to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve system issues.
  • Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
