Main Accountabilities- Develop Physical Security Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive physical security plans to support business objectives and protect company assets.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop mitigating measures to minimize impact.
- Manage Security Team: Manage a team of security professionals to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor CCTV Systems: Monitor CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and detect potential security breaches.
- Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, Security management qualification advantageous, PSIRA Grade A certificate, valid driver's license, and SAPS Competency to handle a Handgun and Shotgun (for Business Purposes).
- Skills: Knowledge of mine environment, understanding of security operational processes, familiarity with health and safety legislation, working knowledge of MS Office, proficient in English (verbal & written communication), strong organizational and leadership skills, conflict management and dispute resolution abilities, safety risk management skills, excellent communication and service-oriented skills, ability to manage and motivate team members for optimal performance and compliance.
