About the Role:

The Procurement Administrator will support the Supply Chain department in ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines regarding supply chain reporting policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions and orders, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining cash books.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to solve problems logically.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and follow up on quotations for Shared Services (IT, ED, Fin, HR, HSE, PE, SE)
  • Create Purchase Requisitions and Orders for Shared Services
  • Follow up on delivery times of goods and services, manage expectations internally and externally
  • Complete receipt of goods and services timeously in the ERP system
  • Review and follow up on all open POs for Shared Services and the broader business monthly
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
  • Ensure achievement of procurement KPIs on a monthly basis

Requirements:

  • National Diploma / BTech / B Comm or similar qualification or equivalent NQF qualification with 2 years relevant work experience or National Senior certificate with minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Relevant working experience with an ERP package advantageous
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of BBBEE reporting advantageous
