Overview:

Zoetis Inc seeks a seasoned Veterinary Account Specialist to drive growth and engagement with key ruminant veterinarians and veterinary channel customers.

This specialist role requires a strong affinity for the technical and scientific aspects of our products and a solid understanding of the business aspect of selling high-quality, premium veterinary pharmaceuticals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing mutually beneficial partnerships with veterinary customers, maintaining relationships, collaborating with internal teams, promoting Zoetis products using solution-selling techniques, and analyzing territory and customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with veterinary direct accounts, non-direct vet accounts, and veterinary wholesalers.
  • Maintain relationships with the appropriate quantity & quality of activity.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team, Technical team, and Commercial Manager – Ruminants (Vet Channel) to provide significant knowledge and expertise to customers.
  • Promote Zoetis products through strong technical proficiency and excellent product knowledge.
  • Analyze territory and customer base, identifying high potential veterinary and selected farmer customers.
  • Manage client relationships, budgets, and report opportunities.
  • Plan and implement promotions as per Marketing strategy.
  • Organize and present at Key farmer study group information events in collaboration with specific veterinary customers.
  • Update SalesForce, Touchpoint, and planning calls for territory administration.
