This role is pivotal in steering the operational performance of the Plant by offering strategic leadership, expert guidance, and analytical support. The position collaborates closely with the Plant Leadership Team to advance the Journey to Excellence (JTE) initiative, which emphasizes enhancing employee skills, ensuring data integrity, and fostering employee involvement through the deployment of high-performance work systems aimed at achieving outstanding business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enhance Visibility of Performance Metrics

  • Direct the annual performance evaluation to align with the site's objectives and budgetary goals.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to prioritize initiatives for performance enhancement.
  • Provide analytical support and rationale for technological upgrades and capital investments.
  • Lead the Focused Improvement initiative at the site.

Oversee Data and Analytics

  • Ensure the accuracy of site data through training, regular assessments, and change management, focusing on scorecards, downtime databases, manual tracking systems, and master data.
  • Deliver insights and analyses on key performance indicators such as Process Reliability, Productivity, Yield, and Scrap.
  • Compile and disseminate the site scorecard on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy for the site.
  • Establish a systematic review process for scorecards involving relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across all organizational levels.

Implement Robust Training Systems

  • Guide site personnel and subject matter experts in utilizing methodologies and tools, including:
  • Basic performance data analysis and trends
  • Problem-solving techniques
  • Root cause analysis
  • Loss reduction initiatives
  • Engagement in the Training and Development initiative
  • Develop and sustain site training frameworks

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations is required.
  • Experience in Total Productive Maintenance, Lean methodologies, Change Management, and Organizational Effectiveness is preferred.
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector is advantageous.
  • Leadership experience in team and operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as SAP Hana and Tableau is beneficial.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex datasets, deriving insights, and constructing robust statistical models, with comfort in handling both structured and unstructured data.
  • Ability to evaluate intricate information to make informed judgments and decisions, thriving in detail-oriented environments without succumbing to analysis paralysis.
