  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality of financial transactions.

  • Stay current with accounting and tax regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as clients and vendors.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
  • Strong educational background in accounting and mathematics (Matric), Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) or equivalent degree.
  • Proven work experience in a supervisory role within a bookkeeping practice (1-2 years) and 3 years of bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice.
  • Membership with South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) or South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) is beneficial.
Skills & Tools
  • Technical expertise in software applications: Xero, Draftworx, Dext, SimplePay, SARS systems, and practice management tools.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, speaking).
