C40 Cities is a leading global organization specializing in the construction space. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing our financial operations across multiple countries and currencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Cross-Border Transactions: Manage and oversee financial transactions across different countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Currency Management: Handle multi-currency transactions, including foreign exchange gains and losses, and ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for various international subsidiaries, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations, coordinating with local tax advisors as necessary.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams in different countries, providing guidance and support on financial matters.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on multinational operations and cross-border transactions.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
