Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with agents, SARS Customs, service providers, and clients.
  • Manage and control the forwarding/receipt of inbound and outbound cargo documentation.
  • Liaise and negotiate with statutory bodies to ensure effective finalization of documentation processes.
  • Manage the C&F team and ensure they are up to date on new statutory requirements.
  • Clearing documentation for road freight.
  • Management reports.
  • Drive and manage profitable and consistent commercial retention, new business development, and growth initiatives.
  • Identify staff development/training needs and ensure high levels of staff motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Ensure the effective running and coordination of the operational function.
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to.
