About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Professional to lead our finance team and drive financial success in our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Review and oversee project company accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage revenue recognition, customer invoicing, cost management, and fixed assets register maintenance.
  • Ensure loan register maintenance, accounting estimates, accruals, and tax journals are up-to-date.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for banks, customers, suppliers, loans, assets, and tax, as well as quarterly foreign currency revaluations.
  • Oversee data room generation and maintenance for project companies.
  • Prepare and manage reporting duties, including monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packages.
  • Assist with Accounting Financial Statements preparation and ensure projects remain compliant with general project documents.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance or Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Law, or similar field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven work experience in a similar position.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, deadline-driven, and good time management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and analyzing data sets, drawing key conclusions based on analysis.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with advanced Excel knowledge, CaseWare, Pastel, and Oracle.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is negotiable dependent on experience, estimated to be around R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum.
