Job Title: Carer

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Carers to join our team at Faircape Health, a division of the Faircape Group. Our luxury lifestyle villages offer state-of-the-art Healthcare Centres, and we cater to the needs of patients requiring long term care, sub acute rehabilitation, and respite care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities in accordance with individualised care plans.
  • Provide comprehensive personal hygiene care, including bathing, showering, and dressing.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, participating in daily activities such as walks, meal times, and activities.
  • Chart all activities with residents on our electronic system, Healthware.
  • Report any changes or concerns in a resident's condition to your senior.
Requirements:
  • Acknowledged Carer training from a reputable organisation.
  • SETA accreditation advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Carer or in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of caring principles, including dementia care, palliative care, and rehabilitative care.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and genuinely caring about residents' feelings.
  • Adaptable to changes within the role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Responsible and accountable.
Working Hours and Salary:

You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month. Basic Salary - R5,800.00 Cost to Company per month. Your total salary could increase to an estimated R7,300 per month due to Sundays work, Public holidays, Quarterly bonuses, and additional shifts worked.

Additional Benefits: Allowance - R200 for additional shifts worked on short notice. Quarterly Bonuses based on individual performance and company performance.
