We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our team at Armstrong Appointments. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in managing renewable energy projects from origination to financial close.
The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating power purchase agreements, lender agreements, and other project documents. Additionally, they will manage tenders and proposals to secure offtakers and opportunities, collaborate with the finance, ESG, and technical teams, and lead the PPA process to signature and CP fulfillment.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, law, or other applicable fields, and minimum 3 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. REIPPP experience is advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks in South Africa.
Responsibilities:
