We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management GIS Consultant to join our team in Tygervally, Bellville. The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Risk Management Team, focusing on geospatial information systems and risk analysis.

  • Support project deliverables, including data management and visualisation.
  • Manage ESRI's cloud solution, ArcGIS Online.
  • Collect, clean, analyse, and visualise data.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute project deliverables.
  • Provide administrative support for the ArcGIS Online Viewer application.
  • Perform daily GIS tasks.
  • Geocode Santam policy data.
  • Conduct research and report writing.
  • Manage e-mail queries.

Requirements:

  • BSc/Bachelor's degree in Geomatics/Geoinformatics or relevant specialist degree.
  • 10-15 years' experience as a GIS Technologist/Professional.
Skill Set

The ideal candidate should have expertise in geospatial information systems, spatial analytics, and geocoding. Proficiency in ESRI software, Python scripting skills, and advanced knowledge in MS Office are essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are also required.
