Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Microbiologist to join our Quality Assurance Department at I&J Woodstock. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine microbiological analysis as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate documentation according to ISO 17025 standards
• Providing internal client liaison support for I&J
• Validating laboratory equipment and procedures
• Maintaining environmental control and media quality
• Assisting with good laboratory practice (GLP) adherence
• Ensuring general laboratory housekeeping and maintenance

Requirements

• Completed degree in Microbiology or Medical Microbiology with at least 1 year of experience in a microbiology laboratory
• Relevant qualification in Food Science advantageous
