Job Title: Commercial Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our team at Headhunters. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities by researching potential clients and building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, and meetings to discuss their needs and propose suitable business solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet company targets and expand the commercial client base.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Handle the full sales cycle, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with customers.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed regarding industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting: Track sales performance, pipeline status, and key activities using CRM tools, and provide regular updates to sales management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 12.
  • Relevant post-grade 12 qualification in sales will be advantageous.
  • 3 years previous working experience within a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with market research techniques to identify potential customers.
  • Code 08 license and own transport.
  • Strong knowledge of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced sales environments and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a flexible, challenging sales environment.
  • Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Must be detail-orientated and work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of sales/marketing/operations/buying/telesales and merchandising is ideally required.
  • An understanding of numbers and accounting calculations.
