About the Position

This role involves working as an Investment Operations Administrator within our team. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to portfolio managers, equity analysts, and the Investment Operations Specialist. Daily tasks will encompass portfolio trade implementation, compliance monitoring, corporate actions coordination within funds, and database updates.

The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and grow within Denker Capital, possessing the ability to see the big picture and dive into details. They will be expected to understand business impact, perform analysis, recommend action, and implement accordingly.

This role is based at our office location in Tyger Falls, Bellville.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply daily portfolio and cash level reports to the investment team
  • Coordinate corporate actions decisions applicable to investment companies
  • Daily compliance monitoring
  • Systems reconciliation (investigating differences between Hiport and NX Manager)
  • Ad-hoc investment operation activities
Portfolio Trade Implementation
  • Calculation and implementation of trades for various asset classes
  • Forex trading coordination with the dealing desk and administrators
  • Setting up new security codes and portfolios on Hiport
  • Supplying outstanding and executed trades reports to the investment team
Monthly Reporting
  • Submission of reports to the compliance department and management companies
  • Top trades report to the investment team
  • Investment-related reports to clients
  • Investment data for marketing purposes
