Your key responsibilities will include assessing business needs and aligning operational plans with business objectives, developing and implementing business intelligence security strategies and operational plans, designing and architecting BI solutions, and leading the design, development, and modification of data infrastructure.

You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality and consistency across Data solutions, informing security measures to protect Data assets, and evaluating and incorporating emerging Data technologies and trends.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong knowledge of Data Governance and Analysis, Intelligence/Data Analytics principles, tools, and best practices, as well as working knowledge of programming and statistical computer languages and cutting-edge data quality management solutions.

Additionally, you will need to have a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Data Privacy and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), as well as competent with approaches and platforms for big data use cases in the cloud and DevOps practices in Data development.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT environment, with 2 years or more in a senior technical lead role.
