Job Title: Maintenance Manager

West Coast Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our power plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and professionals to ensure the plant runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices, and people to support operational departmental actions.
  • Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning, and capital spares optimization.
  • Lead the site Maintenance function in providing a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
  • Ensure the facility operates to its maximum efficiency and output.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma.
  • 2-4 years experience in a similar managerial position.
  • 5 years minimum experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control, and store management CMMS knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of OHS Act.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in Labour Legislation.
  • General Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage.
