Exceed Human Resource Consultants Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to lead our financial reporting team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of high-quality financial reports to stakeholders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards, with experience in managing group financial reporting, consolidations, and auditing. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the preparation of financial reports for regulatory filings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the consolidation process for multiple entities within the group, ensuring accurate inter-company eliminations and reporting.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the financial consolidation system and procedures to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient annual audit process.
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across the group.
  • Overseeing the management and maintenance of the group's fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to:

  • Provide recommendations for improving financial and operational processes to enhance controls and mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with Financial Managers and Department Heads to provide data for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to support decision-making and identify key trends.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the financial team to ensure high performance and foster professional growth.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of five years relevant experience, including group financial reporting, consolidations, and auditing.
  • Proven experience in managing external audits and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficient in financial reporting systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
