Key responsibilities include:

  • General and preventative maintenance on buildings and machinery
  • Diagnosing malfunctions and performing mechanical repairs on equipment
  • Minor electrical work and assisting with minor carpentry and repair tasks
  • Maintaining equipment, tools, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 certificate with N3 Mechanical and Electrical trade test, as well as technical qualifications advantageous. A minimum of two years' experience in FMCG Production/Manufacturing environment is required, along with good working knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements.
