Job Description

As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services from suppliers by creating and releasing purchase orders, administering order acknowledgements/confirmations, and following up and tracking deliveries.

You will also ensure contract compliance for global, regional, country, and local contracts. Responsibilities include:

  1. Create and release purchase orders to suppliers within agreed timelines.
  2. Administrate order acknowledgements/confirmations, including follow-up and actions on deviations from purchase orders.
  3. Provide purchasing support to internal users by offering expert advice and guidance.
  4. Identify, prepare, and propose sourcing activities to meet business needs.
  5. Onboard (evaluate and approve) new suppliers to ensure they meet organizational standards.
  6. Ensure contract compliance for global, regional, country, and local contracts within your area of responsibility.
