This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior IT Auditor at Robert Walters.

You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information for allocated companies, working closely with our Financial Controller to produce high-quality Management Information.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent Excel skills, and good communication skills. You will also supervise Accounts Assistants and provide timely financial information to management.

This is a challenging 'hands-on' role within a friendly and highly professional award-winning outsourced finance team. Key interfaces will be with clients (principally director level) whose finances we are responsible for, and other members of the finance team.

Responsibilities:
  1. End-to-end accounting for allocated companies, including completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of processing relevant entries.
  2. Producing useful and accurate Management Information for clients, working closely with the Financial Controller.
  3. Presenting key findings to clients and acting as finance business partner.
  4. Preparing annual budgets for clients.
  5. Production of monthly management accounts, accruals and prepayments, fixed asset register maintenance, coding and posting of credit cards, director and staff expenses, and maintenance of control accounts in the balance sheets.
  6. Supervising the Accounts Assistants.
  7. Providing timely financial information to management from the Nominal Ledger and other sources.
  8. Preparation of VAT and other statutory returns.
  9. Review of Contractor Gross Profit reports for allocated companies.
  10. Assisting with commission calculations.
  11. Preparation of relevant accounts and supporting schedules to detailed trial balance for review by the Financial Controller (including balance sheet reconciliations).
  12. Checking and reviewing postings to the accounting ledgers for your companies.
  13. Keeping management informed on the status of all aged debt.
  14. Holiday cover for Contractor Payroll for allocated Companies.
  15. Dealing with ad hoc client queries on a timely basis.
About the Role:
