About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist in Fraud Detection to join our team at AfroCentric Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and investigating potential fraud cases, working closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential fraud cases, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Analyse data and financial records to identify patterns and trends that may indicate fraudulent activity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect fraud, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on forensic investigation techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years' experience in forensic investigations, preferably in a medical aid or insurance environment.
  • ACFE certification and/or relevant diploma/degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
