Job Title: Airfreight Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airfreight Manager to join our team at Career Connect (Pty) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics of air freight services, including establishing a client base, developing and marketing logistics services, and selling to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish a client base and develop, market, and sell logistics services to new and existing customers
* Update sales activities using a CRM system
* Ensure proper transitioning of customers to carriers in line with customer requirements and internal procedures
* Monitor and manage the carrier's performance
* Implement recommendations for improved efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings

Requirements:

* Well-presented and spoken with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Self-motivated and able to prospect and convert leads into sales
* Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
* Pro-active and able to engage in all issues that will impact services
