Senior IT Auditor Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Auditor to join our team at Santam Insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IT audits, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and report on IT audit assignments to contribute to the internal audit plan approved by Santam's Group Audit Committee.
  • Perform risk and control assessments, develop and execute audit procedures, and prepare audit findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure audit work is documented on GIA's audit software tool and adheres to quality standards.
  • Assist in reporting to various audit, risk, and related committees, and provide input into annual audit planning.
Requirements
  • More than 4 years' experience in an audit/consulting/risk management/governance or similar operations function.
  • Experience in performing IT general, information security, and cyber security audits, including operating system and database security assessments/reviews.
  • Advanced understanding of internal audit disciplines, methodologies, and practices.
  • Progress towards or completed CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar certifications.
