About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanically stripping motors, ideally AC & DC & Servo. They should also know basic electrical principles of motors and be fully experienced with hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment.
2. Disassemble and assemble electrical motors.
3. Remove and replace bearings, check bearing housings for damage.
4. Change mechanical seals, pressure test water jackets, and perform other mechanical work required on motors.
5. Perform encoder diagnostics and testing.
6. Replace encoders and perform encoder alignments.
7. Test repaired motors on a VSD.
8. Conduct site work to remove or install servo motors.

Requirements:

• Millwright qualification or electrical and mechanical trade.
• Mechanical and electrical experience with AC motors.
• Experience with VSDs is advantageous.
• Good time management and detail orientation.
• Mature approach to resolving workshop-related issues.
• A strong drive to work under pressure.
