Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to join our team in Pietermaritzburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving heavy motor vehicles to and from various locations, collecting and delivering goods/documents/people, while maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle(s).

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on safety and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive heavy motor vehicles safely and efficiently to and from various locations
  • Collect and deliver goods/documents/people as required
  • Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle(s)
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods
  • Ensure all goods delivered are in good condition
  • Carry out daily/weekly checks on the vehicle as per company procedures
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (Essential)
  • Code 10 (code B) Driver's License (Essential)
  • At least 2 years' experience as a delivery assistant or driver (Essential)

Estimated Salary: R150,000 - R200,000 per annum
