Job Title: Newly Qualified CA(SA)

We are seeking a highly motivated and recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our clients' financial operations, contributing to various tasks and gaining exposure to a diverse range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Conduct financial analysis: Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Audit and Assurance: Utilize knowledge gained during Big 4 articles to support the audit process.
  • Ensure compliance: With auditing standards and internal policies.
  • Taxation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals: Optimize tax strategies for clients.
  • Advisory and Consulting: Provide financial advice to clients based on a solid understanding of their business and industry.
  • Participate in strategy development: Improve financial performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation: Financial risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Share knowledge: Contribute to the professional development of team members.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation.
  • Completed articles with one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
  • Recent qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
  • Exposure to a variety of industries through Big 4 articles.
