Job Description

Latitude Resource invites applications for a Tax Accountant position that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail.

Key Duties
  • Ensuring tax portfolios are accurately maintained and up-to-date
  • Supporting the research of complex tax opinions for clients and internal teams
  • Calculating tax liabilities for individual taxpayers and preparing provisional tax estimates
  • Preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Registering entities and individuals with SARS
  • Providing authoritative tax advice to clients
  • Managing tax disputes and appeals effectively
Qualifications
  • A degree in Finance or a related field
  • Professional registration with a relevant accounting body
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in tax consulting

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of taxation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month, dependent on skills and experience.
