About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on projects for our Global Enterprise Capabilities Digital Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM implementation strategies for complex international projects.
  • Establish and administer Common Data Environments (CDEs) to support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Coordinate BIM execution and project delivery with project leadership.
  • Create and maintain project industry framework documents, including BEPs, MIDPs, and MPDTs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on data-integrated workflows for Water Plant projects.
  • Oversee the production of smart object content, templates, and libraries in the context of the project.
  • Deploy the use of AECOM's content management system (Autodesk Content Catalogue/UNIFI) onto projects and manage best practice use of digital technology for collaboration, coordination, and delivery.
  • Establish and administer digital quality assurance control procedures.
  • Collaborate with regional and global digital leadership to build and expand the impact of our growing team of digital professionals in infrastructure markets.

Requirements
  • A degree in Industrial or Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural or Design Technology, or Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field, with previous formal multidiscipline BIM Manager/Coordinator role experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards.
  • Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Water projects, specifically Water Plants, with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience delivering BIM data from BIM software such as Autodesk Plant 3D, Bentley OpenPlant, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil3D, and Autodesk Advanced Steel.
  • Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection, and issue management, and an advanced user of Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC Model Coordination.
  • A strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Water Plant projects.
  • A strong understanding of wastewater equipment and water treatment plant design process, working knowledge of specification-driven process and piping design methodology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Demonstratable portfolio of BIM for Water Plant projects.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player, and mentor, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
