Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on daily liquidity requirements and ensure compliance with Head Office Treasury guidelines.
  • Manage liquidity risk and coordinate with Money Market dealers to establish deposit interest rates.
  • Analyze and predict daily liquidity positions to ensure compliance with regulatory ratios.
  • Identify and close gaps in liquidity management.
  • Maximize profit opportunities through effective ratio management.
  • Coordinate with Money Market dealers to achieve KPIs for Client Deposit Proportion and absolute balance value.
  • Set Treasury Department related NGS parameters and submit monthly reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CFA 1 (Essential)
  • ACI Dealing Certificate (Essential)
  • Financial Risk Management (Advantageous)
  • CFA 3 (Advantageous)
  • BCOM or equivalent qualification (Advantageous)
  • 8+ Years Treasury Dealing and or Operations experience (Advantageous)
  • Chinese Speaking and reading (Advantageous)
  • Analytical ability (Essential)
  • Price Discovery (Essential)
  • Effective multi-currency cash flow management (Essential)
  • Interest rate risk management (Essential)
  • Regulatory ratio forecasting (Essential)
  • Excel proficient (Essential)
  • Drafting of memo's to ALCO etc. (Essential)
