Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Wealth Adviser in dealing with client queries, either telephonically or via written correspondence.
  • Manage incoming calls and ensure that all calls are attended to efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Wealth Adviser to provide ongoing feedback to clients and support the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Prepare and implement investment proposals that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Process new business applications, capturing and quality checking all relevant details.
  • Follow up on applications and instructions to ensure timely completion.
  • Support clients with completing forms, checking them for correctness, updating client information, and obtaining FICA-related information.
  • Load electronic documents onto our internal system.
  • Responsible for managing client portfolios, including switches, rebalances, withdrawals, investment allocation, local and offshore share portfolios.
  • Prepare cash flow analysis and retirement planning calculations to support client decision-making.
  • Deal with script transfers, personal share portfolios, and load fees on our IRESS system.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning or a BCom qualification is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the Financial Services industry is necessary.
  • An RE5 qualification is a requirement for this role.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Afrikaans is essential.
  • Computer literacy, specifically MS Office skills, is required.
