Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Room Attendant to join our team in San Francisco. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and propriety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of rooms, public areas, and hallways to maintain a clean and presentable facility.
  • Restock room amenities, including towels, soaps, and literature.
  • Vacuum and dust surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings.
  • Lift and move heavy furniture as needed.
  • Inspect door and window locks to ensure they're in working order.
  • Report any maintenance issues or deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
  • Able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. continually throughout a shift.
  • Able to push, pull, and move levers, equipment, and furniture.
  • Work with arms raised above head throughout a shift.
  • Maneuver fully loaded maid cart through hallways and into closets.
