Job Description

As a seasoned project manager at Dimension Data, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across various domains. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain project management deliverables, including schedules, documentation, and reporting.
  2. Identify, manage, and communicate changes that may impact project scope or timeline.
  3. Lead and motivate project team members, delegating tasks and setting performance expectations.
  4. Monitor resource allocation, timelines, and key metrics to ensure project milestones are met.
  5. Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication about projects.
  6. Monitor and control work input and scope to ensure projects remain on track and in control.
  7. Ensure projects are executed efficiently and agilely, adhering to company methodologies, tools, and processes.
  8. Plan and manage program stakeholders, scope, activities, conflict resolution, and approach in a matrixed global organization.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  2. Intermediate Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience.
  3. Proficiency in project management methodology, tools, and templates.
  4. Formidable team working skills across matrixed client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
  5. Instrumental in the use of IT methodologies, processes, and standards for project management.
  6. PMP or similar project management certification.
  7. Experience in delivery that includes the use of external supplier and offshore resources.
  8. Experience in participating and driving change management as part of the project.
  9. Communicating with Senior stakeholders.
  10. Database deployments, Data warehousing, Data Migrations.
  11. ERP Deployments.
