Infrastructure Development Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a project-based contract in Lusaka, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of underground sewer systems.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the layout and construction of underground sewer pipes, drainage systems, pump stations, and manholes.
- Monitor on-site structural construction activities related to pipework and manage sampling, testing, designing, and reporting of all required materials and construction quality tests.
- Ensure compliance with engineering codes, environmental guidelines, and health & safety (H&S) regulations.
- Work closely with the Contractor's Representative and Project Manager to align project execution with set targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in built environment infrastructure projects
- 5+ years of experience in water and sewer pipeline construction, underground pipework, drainage systems, and pump stations
- Strong background in QA & QC management within construction projects
