Dynamic Retail Sales and Distribution Role

As a key member of our national retail sales and distribution team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and growing key relationships within the Western Cape retail investment market. Your primary focus will be on engaging with IFAs, DFMs, multi-managers, and LISP platforms, leveraging your strong network and industry experience to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and distribute our company's funds to retail markets in the Western Cape, expanding our footprint and brand awareness within the region.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with IFAs, DFMs, multi-managers, and LISP consultants, focusing on selling our company's funds and delivering exceptional service to all individuals interested in or invested in our funds.
  • Proactively promote our company in the retail market, working closely with the institutional team to enhance our brand and forge partnerships with other fund managers where collaboration is beneficial.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong client network in the Western Cape.
  • Deep understanding of the investment industry, including investment products and structures.
  • Technical expertise in systematic investment management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, with strong communication, presentation, writing, and influencing skills.
  • Relevant degree in Commerce, Investment, or Finance, with preference for candidates with CFP and/or CFA qualifications.

  • Strong people and relationship management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage time efficiently.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative, with a client service-oriented and solution-driven approach.
