Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the DAP plant to ensure production targets are met.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize plant performance and improve efficiency.
- Quality and Safety: Monitor production processes and equipment to maintain quality standards and maximize output, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Team Management: Lead a team of supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule and execute preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and procurement of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on plant performance, production metrics, and operational KPIs for senior management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role in a DAP manufacturing plant.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of Diammonium Phosphate production processes and equipment, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
