This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support networking needs. This role plays a critical role in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security.pbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliDesigns and plans network solutions, including LAN, WAN, data centre, and cloud networks/liliDevelops network architectures that meet the organisation's current and future requirements/liliConfigures, deploys, and manages network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers/liliImplements and maintains network services and protocols/liliImplements and enforces network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, and VPNs/liliMonitors network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities/liliDiagnoses and resolves complex network issues, utilising advanced troubleshooting techniques and network monitoring tools/liliAnalyses network performance data to identify and address bottlenecks and irregularities/liliOptimises network performance by analysing traffic patterns, adjusting configurations, and implementing quality of service (QoS) measures/liliCreates and maintains comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports/liliCollaborates with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, security teams, application developers, and business stakeholders/liliCommunicates technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences/liliManages/participates in network-related projects, including network upgrades, migrations, and expansions/liliDevelops project plans, define objectives, and ensure successful project execution/liliStays updated with emerging networking technologies and industry trend/liliEvaluates and recommends new tools, technologies, and solutions that enhance the organisation's network capabilities/liliWorks with vendors to evaluate, procure, and manage networking equipment, services, and support contracts/liliUtilise network monitoring and analysis tools to proactively monitor network health, identify issues, and respond to incidents/liliEstimate network capacity requirements and plan for scalability to accommodate business growth and changing needs/lipbRequirements:/b/pulliStrong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, architectures, and services/liliProficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers/liliIn-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and security protocols/liliHands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools/liliStrong documentation and communication skills to convey technical information effectively/liliProficient in network administration and configuration tools/liliAnalytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues/liliStrong project management skills to lead and contribute to network projects/liliFamiliarity with network security principles and best practices/lipbAcademic Qualifications and Certifications:/b/pulliBachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field/liliRelevant cloud provider Network Administration certification (Azure, Google, Amazon)/liliRelevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA) are beneficial/liliRelevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA), or equivalent certifications are preferred/lipbWorkplace type: /b/ppbAbout NTT DATA/bbrNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
