Job Title: Senior Financial Manager - Manufacturing Division

Smith Garb & Associates seeks a Senior Financial Manager - Manufacturing Division to lead the financial management of our industrial manufacturing division. The successful incumbent will have 8-10 years of commercial experience as a CFO within the Industrial, Manufacturing and/or Steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3 Financial Managers for 3 trading companies, overseeing financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Ensure factory order systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee accounting and information systems, submitting Annual Returns to CIPC and handling other secretarial requirements.
  • Produce forecasts, manage SARS e-filing, and stand in for FM's in their absence for urgent matters.
  • Assist with costing and pricing issues, assist Directors with general management, and report on daily banking and treasury functions.
  • Provide HR assistance, manage BBBEE, AFS, insurance, and POPIA, and assist the CEO with due diligence exercises.
  • Draft, review, and edit agreements, manage salaries and wages, journals, debtors, stock, creditors, VAT, fixed assets, and GL.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CA(SA) with 8-10 years commercial experience as a CFO within the Industrial, Manufacturing and/or Steel industry.
