Key Responsibilities
This role involves taking responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and running finance activities for the group, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Providing full spectrum of financial services, including budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations.
- Reviewing and interpreting monthly management accounts, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and assisting with strategic analysis and planning.
- Establishing finance and operational strategies to drive business success.
- Managing banking and treasury functions, including preparation of annual financial statements.
- Consolidating budget templates and assisting with implementation of new systems.
- Supporting project analysis and validation of plans.
Qualifications
- Qualified CA(SA) essential.
- 5 to 6 years' post articles experience in a full function group finance role is essential.
- Project environment experience preferred (retail / manufacturing / wholesale / distribution).
- Experience with cost control and financial analysis is essential.
- Strong people management skills, understanding of BI Tools, and strong analytical skills are required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, as well as business partnering and reporting skills.
