About the Role:

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and maintain inventory levels of technical stores on board vessels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies, inspecting incoming shipments to ensure quality and accuracy of products, tracking and recording all inventory transactions, maintaining a clean and organized technical store area, preparing and submitting reports on inventory levels and supply usage, working closely with other departments to ensure timely and efficient supply delivery, monitoring and controlling costs related to technical stores, and training and supervising junior storekeepers as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
  • Knowledge of technical supplies and equipment used on board vessels
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
