We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Tailormade Solution in Pinetown and Riverhorse Valley. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking, processing, and clearing customers' orders for shipments, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, operating and maintaining equipment, sorting and labeling goods, receiving and examining incoming goods, wearing safety gear, preparing orders for shipment or nearby purchase, collaborating with procurement and sales departments, and maintaining inventory records.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to lift up to 25kg, and have basic computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pulling and packing products based on daily orders
  • Meeting customer order specifics in a timely manner
  • Keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
  • Monitoring product quality frequently and reporting problems to mitigate safety issues
  • Operating various pieces of equipment, including Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, and Electrical Pallet Jacks
  • Reporting any mechanical problems and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Matric qualification
  • Be between the ages of 19-29
  • Reside in Pinetown, Riverhorse Valley, Inanda, Ntuzuma, or Mashu, or surrounding areas
  • Must be criminally clear
  • Picking experience using an RF scanner would be an advantage

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is R20,000 per month, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund, and paid annual leave.
