**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with management, studying specifications and construction procedures, and exercising functional authority for all scope of works and related construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Ensure that all construction activities within the designated areas are well planned, coordinated, and able to utilize all available resources in coordination with other functional managers in directing and supervising all involved site personnel, and subcontractors when required.
  • Resource Management: Lead and ensure all work groups are properly guided, in close cooperation with the Project Manager, in assembling and controlling the required resources (manpower, equipment, materials, and tools required) to start and sustain the work efficiency and productivity until the completion of the project.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Advise management in determining the need and procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specific times to conform to the workloads, plans, and schedules.
  • Performance Monitoring: Interact with other construction areas and supervisors, discuss and review with management the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of the project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Supervising and motivating construction workers/and or workforce. Conducting and maintaining quality control checks and safety inspections; and checking and preparing site reports.
  • Problem Solving and Communication: Day-to-day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise. Ensuring that OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) policies are adhered to. Keeping OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) files up to date.
  • Project Delivery: Overall management and delivery of Surface and Underground Construction. Give input and advice on construction issues pertaining to scheduling, cost-saving measures, potential construction problems, and procurement of material and equipment.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all site construction activities comply with quality and legislative requirements. Builds solid relationships with management and employee to enable effective management and cooperation. Driving a sound and positive relationship with internal stakeholders including the Mine Workers and construction employees.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Installation of pipes. Ensure that compliance file is kept updated e.g., Safety file, PTO, Early Shift, and Lock Out etc.
  • Planning and Coordination: Coordinate the planning with engineering construction planner: Monthly schedule, Monthly target focus, and actual focus review. Manage and communicate the monthly Workplan.
