Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Constructrecruit. As a key member of our property development team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for property development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and value engineering to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Manage project costs from inception to completion, including tender evaluations and contract administration.
  • Monitor and control project costs, preparing interim valuations, and final account settlements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and issue accurate reports related to financial performance, risk, and progress of projects.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (Diploma, Degree, or higher).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or property development industry.
  • Proficiency in WinQS software is essential.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contract law, and project management principles.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
