The Department of Water and Sanitation seeks a highly skilled Senior Hydrologist - Water Resources Manager to oversee the establishment of flow gauging sites, direct/indirect hydraulic calibration of flow gauging sites, and assist in flood frequency activities and flow information improvement.

In this role, you will render civil designs for stream flow gauging weirs network in the country, support Provincial Offices (Hydrometry) with Environmental Impact Assessments for new gauging weir sites, and ensure timely completion of these assessments.

You will also supervise the construction/rehabilitation of gauging weirs at various sites, audit relevant engineering reports and drawings, and provide professional and technical advice to other directorates and organizations.
