Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing participation in the daily operation of the program through the provision of various clinical and therapeutic activities for the provision of chemical dependence treatment services.
- Maintains clinical records in compliance with all regulatory bodies and SJRH/BHS policies and procedures.
- Provides assessment, case management, intervention, orientation, treatment planning, individual/group treatment services, and discharge planning for patients and their families.
- Collaborates with internal staff and external community resources for client treatment purposes and relationship building.
- Participate in all necessary activities to ensure payment for treatment services by insurance/managed care companies, including Medicaid/Medicare.
- Prepare reports, maintain statistical data, and attends meetings, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of two years of providing chemical dependency treatment services or two years of experience as a social worker or two years of experience as a mental health counselor.
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Social workers are required to have a Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
- Mental Health Counselors are required to have a Master's or Doctoral degree in mental health counseling from an accredited school.
- CASAC/LMSW/LCSW required.
