Auto Body Repair Workshop Manager Job Description

Sydsen is seeking an experienced Auto Body Repair Workshop Manager to lead our team in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Oversee the full process of panel workshop operations, including panel beating and spray painting.
  • Meet targets and deadlines set by management, while maintaining high-quality repair and safety procedures.
  • Monitor progress and completion of vehicles, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate paint and material inventory, as well as facilities and equipment.
  • Perform quality-control checks and inspect each vehicle after repairs are completed.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience as a Manager in a Panel Workshop.
  • Highly experienced in full process of a Panel workshop.
  • Deadline driven and able to meet targets set out by management.
  • Knowledge of Auto-body workshop Processes, Panel Beating/ Spray Painting, workflow, daily throughput and taking disciplinary action is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, good business acumen.
  • Technically minded.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience doing quotations.
  • Fully Qualified Estimator who is also able to manage the flow of work through the bodyshop.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to take up this highly responsible role.
